Have you been in a situation where someone lied on you & gave false evidence & SUCCESSFULY won the court case?

I've heard of situations like this. Even if someone rightfully sues someone %26amp; loses, %26amp; then someone countersues them with false evidence %26amp; win.





EX: I know a guy who molested his daughter, %26amp; his daughter's mom took him to court. She had evidence, but he flipped it on her %26amp; made it like she was the one who did it. I'd say he CHEATED the case. The judge says he won. But he didn't win fairly.





How did such a thing happen, %26amp; how common are cases like this? %26amp; the guy STILL molests the little girl %26amp; threatens to hurt her if she tells anyone.

Yes. My daughter's in laws lied in a (so called emergency) affidavit, and got custody of the children. They were coerced/ threatened into signing ';agreement'; to give custody up, thus the judge was prevented from hearing any evidence.


In sexual abuse cases.. many times, there is NO provable evidence, and it comes down to who was more believable, or who had the best lawyer. I can't give statistics.. but I am aware of situations where the child lied (was coerced), and the person convicted.. and the child later tells the truth. In some cases. the court does not accept the reversal, because they claim the child is NOW lying that it did not happen.

Many cases are the other way around. Dallas co, Tx has released 16 persons (so far) who were falsely convicted.


Right here on yahoo.. I've seen several posts where someone admits that they filed false charges of abuse, and trying to find a way out of it.


It's impossible to give numbers on this.. we all want to trust the justice system, but if you have ever watched someone get away with perjury/ lies, your faith is shattered.

Small town case where a car load of kids ran me and my wife and kids off the road. Was ticketed for following to close! thought we had it beat. But because of the lies and the fact that the mother had power in the town government I lost and had to pay a fine and fix my own car w/ my insurance! The kid's stories didn't jive, they said I drove on the shoulder, all kinds of crazy lies! The cop was also a friend of the families!
If the person charged has any proof at all, they can appeal.
Yes I have had the same thing happen it is pathetic. Our Court Systems are broke.
In court there are facts, theory, right and wrong and more important Rules of the court.





When a person does not follow the rules of the Court, some Judge will throw out or not allow facts or evidence into the case or hearing. You may have heard a Judge on TV say to the Jury ';you can not consider what the ';person'; just said';.


This is because the rules of Court where not followed such as allowing both sides (lawyers) all the same facts before the trial. Or presenting facts that the Judge does not believe relates to the case directly.





It can be very nasty and that is why people have to hire lawyers, so that the rules of court do not interfer with the facts of the case.
