Could you please tell me where you are getting your information? Seriously. If anyone else knows where I can get some cross species genetic similarity percentages I would be very greatful. Thanks. For those who use DNA evidence as proof of evolution being false...?

Doesn't really have percentages but it's an interesting read. For those who use DNA evidence as proof of evolution being false...?
Hey genius, did it ever occur to you that we were all created at the same time. We will have similar genes depending on our species. PROVE evolution to me. Better be good, I am educated as a scientist. (An anthropologist as a matter of fact, so be DAMN SURE of your ';facts';)
no clue sorry
1- The Darwinism theory cannot scientifically explain how life originated on Earth.
2- No scientific finding shows that the “evolutionary mechanism” proposed by the theory have any evolutionary power at all.
3- The fossil record provided proves the exact opposite of what the theory suggests.
The evolutionists’ claim that the universe started from “first atom” and life started from “first cell”. Who created the atom and cell, the evolutionists cannot answer.
DNA Production and Repair
DNA cannot function without at least 75 preexisting proteins,a but proteins are produced only at the direction of DNA.b Because each needs the other, a satisfactory explanation for the origin of one must also explain the origin of the other.c The components of these manufacturing systems must have come into existence simultaneously. This implies creation.
When a cell divides, its DNA is copied, sometimes with errors. Each animal and plant has machinery that identifies and corrects most errors;d if it did not, the organism would deteriorate and become extinct. If evolution happened, which evolved first, DNA or its repair mechanism? Each requires the other.
Genetic Information
The genetic information in the DNA of each human cell is roughly equivalent to a library of 4,000 books.a Even if matter and life (perhaps a bacterium) somehow arose, the probability that mutations and natural selection produced this vast amount of information is essentially zero.b It would be analogous to continuing the following procedure until 4,000 books were produced:c
a. Start with a meaningful phrase.
b. Retype it, but make some errors and insert a few letters.
c. See if the new phrase is meaningful.
d. If it is, replace the original phrase with it.
e. Return to step “b.”
To produce just the enzymes in one organism would require more than 1040,000 trials.d (To understand how large 1040,000 is, realize that the visible universe has fewer than 1080 atoms in it.)
Since 1970, evolutionists have referred to large segments of DNA as “junk DNA,” because it supposedly had no purpose and was left over from our evolutionary past. We now know this “junk” explains much of the complexity of organisms. Use of the term “junk DNA” reflected past ignorance.
The Elephant in the Living Room
Writer George V. Caylor interviewed Sam, a molecular biologist. George asked Sam about his work. Sam said he and his team were scientific “detectives,” working with DNA and tracking down the cause of disease. Here is their published conversation.
G: “Sounds like pretty complicated work.”
S: “You can’t imagine how complicated!”
G: “Try me.”
S: “I’m a bit like an editor, trying to find a spelling mistake inside a document larger than four complete sets of Encyclopedia Britannica. Seventy volumes, thousands and thousands of pages of small print words.”
G: “With the computer power, you can just use ‘spell check’!”
S: “There is no ‘spell check’ because we don’t know yet how the words are supposed to be spelled. We don’t even know for sure which language. And it’s not just the ‘spelling error’ we’re looking for. If any of the punctuation is out of place, or a space out of place, or a grammatical error, we have a mutation that will cause a disease.”
G: “So how do you do it?”
S: “We are learning as we go. We have already ‘read’ over two articles in that encyclopedia, and located some ‘typo’s’. It should get easier as time goes by.”
G: “How did all that information happen to get there?”
S: “Do you mean, did it just happen? Did it evolve?”
G: “Bingo. Do you believe that the information evolved?”
S: “George, nobody I know in my profession truly believes it evolved. It was engineered by ‘genius beyond genius,’ and such information could not have been written any other way. The paper and ink did not write the book. Knowing what we know, it is ridiculous to think otherwise. A bit like Neil Armstrong believing the moon is made of green cheese. He's been there!”
G: “Have you ever stated that in a public lecture, or in any public writings?”
S: “No. It all just evolved.”
G: “What? You just told me — ?”
S: “Just stop right there. To be a molecular biologist requires one to hold on to two insanities at all times. One, it would be insane to believe in evolution when you can see the truth for yourself. Two, it would be insane to say you don’t believe in evolution. All government work, research grants, papers, big college lectures—everything would stop. I’d be out of a job, or relegated to the outer fringes where I couldn’t earn a decent living.”
G: “I hate to say it, Sam, but that sounds intellectually dishonest.”
S: “The work I do in genetic research is honorable. We will find the cures to many of mankind’s worst diseases. But in the meantime, we have to live with the ‘elephant in the living room’.”
G: “What elephant?”
S: “Design. It’s like the elephant in the living room. It moves around, takes up an enormous amount of space, loudly trumpets, bumps into us, knocks things over, eats a ton of hay, and smells like an elephant. And yet we have to swear it isn’t there!”
In Brief—D.N.A. mutation and design
by J. G. Leslie, Ph.D.
The living cell is a marvellous, complex piece of machinery. It contains energy converters (mitochondria), production factories (golgi bodies), and the ability to repair or duplicate itself. It also contains an information storage library within a substance called DNA (deoxyribonucleic). This DNA contains the information which is passed on to future generations. In human beings there are 23 pairs of DNA (or 46 chromosomes). Modern research has discovered the location of certain genes for very specific functions, for example the ABO blood group antigenes have been found on number 9 chromosome. The DNA present in a single cell, if it were unravelled, would be about two metres long. In an adult human being, if the number of cells is round about 1013, then the total length of DNA would extend from the earth to the sun 100 times. Yet this DNA is tightly packed inside the chromosomes of each cell.
The DNA in the chromosomes is incredibly complex, yet it can be subject to accidental alterations or mutations. Experiments have shown that the system reproduces itself so accurately, that in bacteria at least, only one error occurs in every 10,000 times the cells divide. Evolution theory claims that these mutations are the backbone of change with time. However observations of presently occurring mutations indicate that this cannot be so. To take one example, haemoglobin (that’s a molecule found in blood) has over 300 known mutants, yet not one has turned out to be helpful for human survival. This includes the haemoglobin mutation associated with sickle cell anemia. Despite the fact that sickle cell anemia sufferers are more resistant to malaria, they are also subject to ‘growth impairment, susceptibility to infection, and chronic organ damage due to repeated vaso-occlusive episodes’.
No known mechanism of mutation, either at the gene level or the chromosome level has been discovered which will produce evolutionary advancement. This is particularly so because all molecules involved in replication (DNA, RNA, protein) are interdependent with each other, and do not function in isolation. In other words the cell and its genetic contents, give the appearance of having been an initially created complex unit ready to work. That is why any subsequent random mutational changes to it have been and are observed to be deletarious.
I would think DNA would be proof positive that evolution is real, but that's just me.
Mkay.
CNN TV last year ran a short blurb on DNA and commented that ==Many will not know what to do with the FACT that DNA has proven that ALL PEOPLES originated from one couple.
There was also comment that DNA showed man is closer to Broccoli than Apes.
Sorry , no more details-- I can't even remember the name of the
Dan Rather that was speaking.
Hmm, I always thought DNA was one more proof of evolution. Why would there be all the unused junk DNA in us if God *poofed* us into existence?
we did not come from monkeys lol. if monkeys evolved into humans ,..then why are there still monkeys?? we were humans to begin with gosh!!!! I pass you a banana. good luck.
Hey- if you manage to find the information you are seeking, could you please pass the source on to me? I'd be very interested in taking a look! I'm at time4u420 at yahoo.com! Thanks!
You might want to contact Reasons To Believe.
(I think reasons.org).
So what if maybe our arms are ape like or our eyes are like a chickens (in DNA)? Wouldn't God have used the BEST for us? But apes aren't spirit beings and neither chickens.
Asking a community of uninformed people isn't going to get you anywhere. Research it on your own. There may be some texts on this, or you may have to go straight to the original published sources. I'm sure there are plenty of journals centered around themes related to this subject.
God made your poop stink. Now THAT is evidence.

i dont agree with evolution in general but i think people who don't know about it should keep quiet because they make any objections seem foolish and unscientific. First unedrstand what evolutionist are saying. Sometimes people are refuting stuff people don't even claim so they look pretty dumb themselves. In terms of dna i think people say that the schematic quality and intricacy of the design is evidence of it itself being designed, that was i think the opinion of swinburne before he died who said it was proof for a creator but denied the kind of God monothesitic religions talk about
