There's no evidence that there are any deities
But there is evidence that a MAN called Jesus/Yeshua did exist: Tacitus, Lucian, Pliny, Celsus, Suetonius, Thallus and even the Jewish Talmud
Fundamental atheists won't accept this, but they are as opened minded as Young Earthers. But they will believe the most illogical story that Peter %26amp; Paul concocted the whole thing, for which they were executed. Christians were being killed for their faith not 30 years after Jesus' crucifixion 1400 miles away in Rome
People have been contesting Jesus' divinity for millenia, but only in the last 2 centuries have a few people questioned His existence and not particularly well
EDIT: It is likely that douments which confirm the existence of a man called Jesus/Yesuha were supressed by the very people who have benefited from making Him divine
The whole Titus Flavius Josephus 'deal' has not been proved to be a forgery, if youre really interested watch this

Jesus fulfilled over 300 prophecies, such as when and where the Messiah would be born and when and how the Messiah would die.
Jesus also said that he would prove he is God in human form by his resurrection from the dead. There were over 500 people who saw Jesus physically alive after his resurrection from the dead.
The New Testament was written during the life times of those who were alive during the 3 years of Jesus' ministry. There were no eyewitnesses at that time claiming that Jesus was not real or that Jesus did not performed miracles. Is there any real hard-core evidence to suggest that Jesus is real and other Gods are false?
Two important things:
Zeus has no historical and non-theologic evidence that he walked the earth, Jesus does.
About the prophecy thing. Only the Christian God has provided the prophecy to be fulfilled centuries in advance. Look up the biblical prophecies on the city of TYRE if you would like a real world example. No other myths, as you call them, deliver like that does.
No. There's no unmistakable evidence to suggest any of them are real.
No hard evidence.
I think, strength, influence and richness of Christians may lie behind this suggestion.
Trust me, if I've seen it, I would have sent it too you already.
No there isn't.
Of course there isn't.
only thing they have as proof is bible , which is a bull $.hit
If your faith is strong enough you can believe anything. 鈫戔啈鈫?br>
It doesn't need to be true.
....
[Edit]
I'm not sure where SundayLunch is getting his information, but I have been familiar with Tacitus' reference to Jesus Christ for years, and it is one of the most obvious forgeries in the whole of classical literature. If you know anything about Tacitus that half-sentence sticks out the way that a couple bars of Britney Spears would in a Sonic Youth video.
Maybe the Church only tampered with a classical text that once (after all, the Christians only had around fourteen hundred years to insert messages favourable to themselves in genuine Roman texts). This seems likely: Christians have always been spectacularly honest and trustworthy folk (as they still are).
Suetonius does not refer to anybody called Christ living in Palestine in the early years of the first century. Suetonius refers to somebody called Chrestus (a common name among Greek metics) living in Rome around 100 AD.
Pliny the younger talks about Christianity as one of several cult religions causing problems in Rome towards the end of the first century.
And so on .....
yes
But when the Comforter is come, whom I will send unto you from the Father, even the Spirit of truth, which proceedeth from the Father, he shall testify of me:
But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.
And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever;
Nevertheless I tell you the truth; It is expedient for you that I go away: for if I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto you; but if I depart, I will send him unto you
