Paradox said in an answer that new evidence was proving Christianity false...?

Anyone that knows of this evidence, please tell me what this evidence is.Paradox said in an answer that new evidence was proving Christianity false...?
Science can purify religion from error and superstition; religion can purify science from idolatry and false absolutes. Each can draw the other into a wider world, a world in which both can flourish.... We need each other to be what we must be, what we are called to be.'; (-Pope John Paul II)

Science is one example of human reasoning at its best. Most scientists would contend that their work attains truth, pointing at the successes of science鈥攚e fly planes, we cure diseases, we communicate on the Internet鈥攖o support their argument. These same scientists often fail to realize that these successes necessarily presuppose metaphysical and methodological principles that though non-demonstrable are accepted by them as true and certain.

Is it surprising that there are truths that cannot be proved? Though most scientists would be suspicious, they shouldn鈥檛 be. Kurt G枚del, one of their own, showed in 1930 that there would always be some truths whose truth or falsity cannot be established using the axioms and deductive rules of arithmetic (John Barrow, Impossibility: The Limits of Science and the Science of Limits, .Oxford University Press [1998], 218鈥?31). He used logic to prove that there were things that could not be proved. Some of these include the metaphysical first principles that ground the scientific enterprise.

Thus, if science is considered the paradigm of rationality as many people suppose, then one must conclude that believing is also rational. The believer can now correct the non-believer who has contrasted science and religion: Science is based primarily upon reason but, as does every rational enterprise, including religion, science relies upon principles that are grounded in faith.

Regarding ';new evidence'; that Christianity is false, there is nothing new about it. The Da Vinci Con is merely a re-hash of Gnosticism, and alot of made-up history added for color. I challenge anyone to scientifically and historically to prove this so called new evidence as valid.Paradox said in an answer that new evidence was proving Christianity false...?
The dead see scrolls are just as valid as the ';roman hijacked bible';. That is the evidence I was talking about. More and more evidence is pointing out that the religion was hijacked by roman warlords. Gnosism is a purer and more ancient form of christoanity than Catholism or protestants.

The sun is really the center of the universe rather than the earth as originally thought. Also there was my Lutheran buddy Bruno who was burnt at the stake for preaching the possibility of life on another planet. Poor guy. If only scientist would listen to the religious statements made in the past, there would be no need for further study. I personally don't think that shoving my foot in my mouth proves an idea to be false though. Any time truth is obtained, its one line at a time. So if science gets to adjust their theories after new discoveries, shouldn't religion also?
The evidence is not new. It has been there all along just waiting for those who have eyes to see and ears to hear. If you are ready for the truth it will find you.
There is no evidence in existence that can ever prove Christianity wrong. Scientists have been trying for centuries and every time they prove it to be true.
The Gospel of Judas

Science is proving Genesis wrong for sure, but it is suppose to be taken as symbolism...
I don't think any science proves the faith false, unless you're a fundamentalist. Fundamentalism takes the Bible word-for-word, which means that they believe that the Earth is flat and that the sky will rip apart like a canvas during the Apocalypse.
Science was based on biblical principles because scientists of old reckognized that the Universe was governed by laws. Therefore, the conclusion was that if there were laws then there had to have been a Law-Giver.

Natural selection or evolution isn't the cause for the Law of Nature or any other universal law, it's foolishness to say that it is. There had to have been an intelligence, an uncaused cause, to cause the universal laws to exist, to function the way that it does.

Furthermore, God has chosen the foolish things of the world to put to shame the wise (1 Corinthians 1:27), which is why most ';intellectuals'; have a hard time seeing past their biased opinions.
Science has been unfolding and proving religions blind spots to be false, for years. Many and varied studies have taken science away from religion, because of blind faith vs open minds.
Well, you can't expect someone to post every single bit of info about the bible. But it's well known by everyone who has taken the time to research it, that the Bible is nothing more than a collection of pagan myths, Jewish laws, and prophecies that were disproven less than one hundred years after they were written.

What I'm saying here is a proven fact. All I can do to convince you, however, is to instruct you to simply look online at some sites dedicated to biblical history, etc.

However, if you look at any site that is Christian-based, you won't see the facts I'm talking about. They don't talk about such things. You need to go to a reputable source, such as a university. I'll list a couple below.

Meanwhile, it makes perfect sense, if you can forget your Christian taboos for a moment. Do you believe in Zeus and Odin? Do you not see that the stories in the bible of miracles, and Noah's ark, etc, are no less believable than any other silly mythology throughout history? (Noah's ark is a pagan myth, btw... See: Epic of Gilgamesh)

Christians will combat this by saying ';Well, they're parables. They're not meant to be taken literally.';

Sorry. They ARE meant to be taken literally. This backpedalling argument is something that has arisen in the last couple hundred years, as science proved how ridiculous these stories are.

And science continues to disprove more and more of the Bible every day.

Is the bible a useful source for human history? Yes, I think so. But it only deals with middle eastern history, for one thing, and it is also full of children's fairy tales. Unfortunately, plenty of otherwise rational people have been indoctrinated since birth into believing such nonsense is actually real.

All it takes is for you to critically examine the bible itself. If you read it cover to cover, you'll be an atheist too, very soon.
The dead sea scrolls and some new ones recently found in (palistine?)show that much of what xtians believe is misguided. 666, for example, was actually something like 60061, don't quote me on that as an exact, but they certainly showed that a lot of the bible is codswallop! Look into it for yourself. Don't rely on the truth coming from any source but your own investigations. A LOT of the bible was re-written by people who had their own agendas.
There is pusedo evidence that attempts to prove anything having to do with the one, true God and the truth of scripture false.

The Judas papers are not scripture. God has overseen, through man, the preservation of His Word, which are the 66 books we know as the Bible. Revelation gives a stern warning to all who attempt to ADD anything else after the end of the book of Revelation. ';...If any man shall ADD unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book.'; (Revelation 22:18)

Of course, the world is predominently unbelieving, and full of scoffers, mockers, and God-haters. This is not surprising, especially when scripture tells us that Satan has deceived the whole world (Revelation 12:9). So, the MAJORITY of the world is deceived and on the broad road that leads to destruction, all the while seeming perfectly content.

I have chosen Jesus Christ, who is the way, the truth, and the life. The narrow way is for me, and it leads to eternal life.

';For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him, should not perish, but have everlasting life.'; John 3:16

You can have eternal life, so that you do not have to cease to be. Choose life. (Deuteronomy 30:19)
Religion is for the ignorant masses. The intellectuals don't believe in Christianity, as it is all symbology, myth, and partly hystorical for the most part, and not scientific. Science has proven the Bible wrong many times. The bible claims the Sun revolves around the Earth, and science proved that wrong. The bible says the earth is flat and science proved that wrong as well. Also, the BIble says that the bat is a bird, and science proved that wrong. And these are just three random examples, there are too many out there.
Nope science didn't prove Christianity as false...although nonbelievers uses science as a defense to their claims against Christianity...there's no valid evidence againts it whatsoever. They may twist and turn and came up with many things to prove their point but ';No God'; belief will never prevail. Sorry to spill it out, science agrees with the Bible.
Isaiah 40:22

';It is he that sitteth upon the circle of the earth, and the inhabitants thereof are as grasshoppers; that stretcheth out the heavens as a curtain, and spreadeth them out as a tent to dwell in:';
NO Christianity is the only true religion and no new sources can or ever will prove it wrong.
