Exactly. But that is organised religion. People can believe in a god that may not have been drawn by italian artists(hehe) or written about by men in old books etc so maybe god is not showing himself to us at all- just religious people are claiming they know what god is about. Me- I can't prove there is not a god/creator- but a moral overlord that dishes out punishments and suffering is not a very credible omnipotent being in my mind!

If its the Bible, well that was writen and corrupted by men and kings..so only Goid knows whats real about that anymore. Besides I am under the assumption that God has left us to fend for ourselves, answering only the prayers that he deems nessesary. So yea kids die, people suffer, but thats not him,, that is US. If only we could understand that WE have the power to change this world, then I think people will start to get it..
