Is it against the law to provide false evidence to the state attorney's office..?

resulting in an innocent person being arrested under felony charges and then the innocent person being found not guilty? Can the person supplying the false evidence be prosecuted? Is it against the law to provide false evidence to the state attorney's office..?
Absolutely. It's either obstruction of justice or perjury, depending on the specific circumstances in which the false evidence was provided.

This presumes that it was provided deliberately and knowingly.

And the innocent person can also attempt to sue the person providing false evidence, but that is rarely successful due to immunity laws for witnesses. It's worth checking on in your particular jurisdiction, however. Is it against the law to provide false evidence to the state attorney's office..?
Thanks!
